A monthly report pulls together uptime, outages and response times for one client, so you don't have to put it together by hand. This is for anyone who sends infrastructure updates to a client each month.

## Overview
- Covers one client's status page or tag: uptime, every incident with its cause and length, response times, and maintenance done
- Sent automatically as a PDF on the 1st of every month, or downloaded any time
- Part of the Business plan and above

## Open it
1. Go to **Reports** and choose **Client report**.
2. In the filter bar, pick the client's **Status page**, or the **Tag** you put on their monitors.
3. Pick the month. Months that have finished are final; the month that is still running says so at the top.

## What is in it
- **Uptime on the status page.** The same figure your client sees on their status page, for the days of that month. A status page counts a minor incident for less than a major one, so this figure can be a little higher than the monitor figures below.
- **Each monitor.** Its uptime for the calendar month, the downtime in minutes, its incidents and its typical response time. Every minute of an unplanned outage counts in full, and planned maintenance is left out. If you set an uptime target on a monitor or on the status page, the report says whether the month met it and how many of the allowed minutes were used.
- **Incidents.** Each outage with its cause, how long it lasted, and its summary. When you saved a summary on the incident, that is the one used. When you did not, InfraNest writes a short one in the language of the report: what was down, for how long, and what you said it was. It leaves out what is only for your team — who was alerted, who acknowledged it, and which changes and deploys came just before it. To send more, save a summary.
- **Maintenance done.** The maintenance windows that covered these monitors, and how many minutes of planned maintenance were left out of the figures.

## Have it sent every month

At the bottom of the report, under **Send this every month**:

1. Type your client's email addresses. They do not need an InfraNest login.
2. Pick the language they read.
3. Press **Add**.

On the 1st, each address gets an email with the month's figures and the full report attached as a PDF. If the report is for a status page, the email also links to it. **Send now** sends last month's report right away, so you can see what your client gets; it does not replace the send on the 1st.

> [!NOTE]
> A status page or tag with no monitors sends nothing, so nobody gets an empty email. Each send is in your audit log, with who received it.

## Download it
- **Download PDF** gives you the same document your client receives.
- **Download web page** gives you the same document as a page you can open in any browser, print, or attach.
- **Export CSV** gives you the figures as a spreadsheet: the monitors, the incidents and the maintenance.

## Troubleshooting
- **No PDF button?** Your installation has no PDF service set up. Download the web page or the spreadsheet instead. The monthly email still arrives, without an attachment.
- **The PDF could not be made?** The page says so. Download the web page or the spreadsheet instead, or try again in a minute.
- **Deleted the status page or tag?** The monthly send stops and says why when you press **Send now**. Pick another one and add the addresses again.

> [!TIP]
> Press **Send now** before you set up the monthly send, so you know exactly what your client will receive.
