About Domains is your one-stop hub for every domain you own, no matter which registrar you registered it with — built for anyone who wants a simple view of what's registered, when it renews, and how to manage it without logging into each registrar separately.

## Overview
- InfraNest pulls in domains from every registrar you connect and keeps them up to date automatically.
- You can manage domains directly from InfraNest instead of the registrar's own site.
- Only the actions your registrar and domain ending actually support are shown — everything else is greyed out with a reason, so you never hit a confusing error.
- InfraNest watches renewal dates and flags security gaps before they become problems.

## What you can do

1. Go to **Domains** in the sidebar to see every domain you own, imported automatically from GoDaddy, Cloudflare, IONOS, TransIP, Namecheap and AWS.
2. Open any domain to change nameservers, **Renew** it, turn on **Transfer lock**, **WHOIS privacy**, **Auto-renew** or **DNSSEC**, edit contacts, or get the **Transfer / EPP code**.
3. Check the **Security Advisor** on a domain's page — it flags issues like a missing transfer lock and can fix them in one click.
4. Use **Register domain** or **Transfer domain in** to bring new domains under management, and reuse saved contact details instead of retyping them.

> [!NOTE]
> Actions a registrar or domain ending doesn't support (for example, some TLDs don't offer WHOIS privacy) are shown greyed out with the reason — this is expected, not an error.

## Browse the Domains page

1. Open **Domains** from the sidebar to see your full portfolio as a single list.
2. Use the stat tiles — **Active**, **Expiring soon**, **Expired** — to quickly filter the list by clicking one.

3. Use **Search**, **Filter** and **Tags** to narrow the list down to specific domains.
4. Check the columns for registrar, expiry, auto-renew and status at a glance.
5. Use **Add domain** to search for and register a new domain, or use the row actions to **Open** or manage an existing one.

## Manage a single domain

1. Click into any domain from the **Domains** list to open its detail page.
2. Review the **Overview** tab for registrar, dates, status, nameservers, security settings and renewal price.
3. Use the **Quick Actions** panel to **Renew**, get the **EPP / Auth Code**, or jump straight to its **DNS zone**.

4. Check the **Security Advisor** section for **Recommended actions** or confirmation that there are **No issues detected**.
5. Review **Contact information** (**Admin**, **Registrant**, **Tech**), nameserver health, and run a WHOIS lookup under the **WHOIS** tab.
6. Scroll to **Activity history** to see the full history of changes for that domain.

## Tips

> [!TIP]
> Click a stat tile like **Expiring soon** on the **Domains** page as a fast way to see what needs attention right now.

- Use **Tags** to group related domains (for example, by client or project) so they're easy to filter later.
- Set up **Auto-renew** and **Transfer lock** on important domains so they're protected by default.
