Let visitors subscribe to your status page for updates, and post announcements to keep everyone informed. This is for anyone managing a status page who wants to keep their audience in the loop without extra emails or messages.

## Overview
- Visitors can subscribe by email to get notified about incidents and updates.
- You control whether subscriber notifications are on or off.
- You can post announcements to share maintenance notices or general messages outside of a formal incident.
- You can view and manage your subscriber list at any time.

## Turn on subscriber notifications
1. Open your status page settings.
2. Find the **Subscriber email notifications** setting.
3. Select **Yes, enable subscriptions** to allow visitors to sign up and receive email updates.
4. Select **Save changes** to apply the update.

## Manage subscribers
1. Go to your status page settings.
2. Look for the list of **subscribers**.
3. If there are no subscribers yet, you'll see **No subscribers yet**.
4. To remove everyone from the list, select **Remove all**.

> Subscribers only receive emails automatically if **Subscriber email notifications** is turned on.

## Post an announcement
1. Go to your status page settings and find the **Announcements** section.
2. Select **New announcement**.
3. Write your message — this can be a maintenance notice, an incident summary, or a general update.
4. Optionally set **Show from** and **Show until** dates to control when the announcement appears.
5. Select **Save** to publish it to your public page.

To make changes later, select **Edit announcement**, or select **Delete announcement** to remove it. If you haven't created one yet, you'll see **No announcements** on the page.

> Announcements are a fast way to communicate with visitors without waiting to open a formal incident.

## Troubleshooting
- If subscribers say they aren't receiving emails, check that **Subscriber email notifications** is set to **Yes, enable subscriptions**.
- If an announcement isn't showing on the public page, check its **Show from** and **Show until** dates to make sure it's currently active.
