Verifying your email address confirms InfraNest can reach you, and this article walks you through it if you're stuck on that step.

## Overview
- Confirming your address unlocks full access to InfraNest.
- It ensures outage alerts, expiry warnings, and password resets can actually reach you.
- The process only takes a minute once the email arrives.

## Verify your email address
1. Check your inbox for the message from InfraNest.
2. Select the verification link in it.
3. You're returned to InfraNest, verified.

If you're already on the verification screen, use **Resend** to get a fresh message.

## Fix a missing email
Work through these in order — the first two explain almost every case.

1. Check your spam and junk folders. Verification mail is automated and sometimes filtered there.
2. Check that your address is correct. A typo at sign-up sends the mail somewhere real but not yours. You can correct it under **Settings → Profile**, then send a new one.
3. Wait a minute, then select **Resend**. Repeated requests are rate-limited, so hammering the button can slow things down rather than speed them up.
4. If you're using a work address, ask your IT team whether a mail gateway is holding it, and have them allow our sending domain.

> [!NOTE]
> An unverified address means outage alerts and expiry warnings can't reach you, and a password reset has nowhere safe to go. Some parts of InfraNest stay closed until it's confirmed, for that reason.

## Troubleshooting
**The link says it has expired.** Verification links are time-limited. Go back to the verification screen, select **Resend**, and use the new link promptly.

> [!TIP]
> If you're not sure your address is correct, fix it in **Settings → Profile** before requesting another email — otherwise the new one will go astray too.
