Register and manage OpenProvider domains, DNS and certificates
Connect your OpenProvider reseller account to handle domain registration, renewal, transfers and DNS from InfraNest instead of the control panel.
Connect your OpenProvider reseller account to InfraNest and manage your domains, DNS and certificates from a single platform.
- Domain registration and renewal: Register new domains, renew existing ones, transfer domains in, and restore domains from redemption. Set auto-renew, transfer lock and WHOIS privacy toggles directly from InfraNest.
- Nameserver and DNSSEC management: Update nameservers and DNSSEC settings for any domain in your account.
- DNS hosting: Create, edit and delete DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS and other standard types) for zones hosted at OpenProvider, with drift detection to flag changes made outside InfraNest.
- Domain tools: Check domain availability, fetch EPP/auth codes for transfers, and view current pricing.
- Certificate tracking: Import SSL certificates already active on your OpenProvider account and track their expiry dates.
- Account visibility: List all domains and read detailed information about each one.
NoteWHOIS contact details cannot be edited from InfraNest — only the privacy toggle. Certificate ordering, issuance, renewal and revocation happen in OpenProvider's own panel; InfraNest imports them for tracking only.

Full setup guideSet up with AI
I use OpenProvider, and I want to connect it to InfraNest (infranest.io) — it manages domains, DNS, servers and certificates across providers. InfraNest asks for: OpenProvider reseller username and password (Account → Account Overview in the Reseller Control Panel). Walk me through creating that in OpenProvider: where each setting is in the current interface, whether a read-only option exists, and how to check it works before I paste it in.
What syncs
What InfraNest keeps in sync with OpenProvider.
| Domains | List of all registered domains with status, registrar details, renewal dates and nameserver configuration. |
| DNS records | All zones and records hosted at OpenProvider, with drift detection to flag out-of-band changes. |
| SSL certificates | Imported certificates already on your account, showing expiry dates for tracking and renewal planning. |
Questions
#Can I edit WHOIS contact details from InfraNest?
No. InfraNest lets you toggle WHOIS privacy on or off, but registrant and admin contact details are edited only in OpenProvider's own panel.
#Can InfraNest order or renew SSL certificates at OpenProvider?
No. InfraNest imports certificates already on your account so you can track their expiry. Ordering, renewal and reissuance happen in OpenProvider's panel.
#What happens if I revoke my credentials?
InfraNest loses access to your OpenProvider account. Domains, DNS and certificates remain untouched at OpenProvider; they simply stop syncing in InfraNest until you reconnect.
#Can I connect multiple OpenProvider accounts?
Yes. Add each reseller account as a separate provider in InfraNest Settings → Providers.
