#Can InfraNest replace Instatus?

Yes: status pages on your own domain, built from your monitoring, with subscribers by email, Slack, Teams or Discord. On top of that, InfraNest manages your domains, DNS, certificates and servers.

#Is InfraNest cheaper than Instatus?

For more than one page, yes: InfraNest Pro includes three pages on your own domain for €24 a month, while Instatus includes three on Business at $225. For a single page the two Pro plans cost about the same.

#Is there a subscriber limit?

No. Every InfraNest plan, including Free, has no limit on subscribers. Instatus allows 200 on Starter and 5,000 on Pro.

#Does my status page update automatically?

Yes. Every service on the page is backed by a monitoring check, so when a check fails the page changes on its own and subscribers get an update.

#Can my status page be private?

Yes, on Business: private and password-protected pages, plus a team view with who is on call and a runbook per service. Instatus offers private pages on Pro too.

#Can I use my own domain?

Yes, from Pro. HTTPS is set up for you, and if your DNS is managed in InfraNest we create the record too.

#Can I import my Instatus page?

Not yet. Rebuilding a page takes about five minutes, and you can keep Instatus online until you move your domain.

#Do I have to move my domains or DNS?

No. They stay where they are. InfraNest manages them through the accounts you connect.
